Domestic and Hybrid Programs - Polish

1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th-year Polish

6 Weeks in Pittsburgh

The SLI Polish program is being offered in an in-person format during the summer of 2023 on the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Depending on demand, some sections may be offered in an online, synchronous format. Applicants will be asked to indicate the format that they are seeking on their SLI application form.

Polish at the beginning, intermediate, advanced and 4th-year levels taught at the SLI provides the equivalent of one academic year's worth of study.

Polish classes will meet Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 2:50 pm ET for 5 academic hours per day with a break for lunch. In addition to intensive language classes, students also attend Polish films, lectures on politics and culture, and activities featuring Polish culture on topics such as art, music, movement, and cuisine.
